Whenever we “eat of the bread” and “drink of the cup,” we remember this is Christ’s body and blood. But how did it all begin?
Though designed for the more seasoned believer, this retreat can still reach a wider audience. The two or three day retreat features the stories of Anna, Mary of Bethany (Martha’s sister), Job’s Wife, The Witch of Endor, and Mary Mother of Jesus. Focus is given to what can be learned from their relationships with the Lord.
Friday evening the gospel accounts will be included in experiencing something of what Jesus’ last supper with His disciples may have been like, with an interactive Passover Seder. An interactive workshop on Saturday will provide ways to draw closer in fellowship to God, and to each other, in the Spirit of Christ. For the three day retreat, we will close with a time of worship, teaching, and prayer Sunday morning.
Bible studies and devotionals for each of the characters will provide further study for the weeks following this retreat.
