The Message of Pilate’s Wife. Pilate , James Tissot (1836-1902) | Wikimedia Commons, Public Domain

Today we speak of personal truth–what’s true for you may not necessarily be true for me, we say. We intone that each must be true to our own truth. But is that true? Pontius Pilate famously asked Jesus, “What is truth,” but he left the room before Jesus had a chance to respond.

Though designed for those new to the faith, this retreat can reach a wide audience. The one day retreat features the stories of Jezebel, Noah’s Wife, and Pilate’s Wife, all women whose perspective on life was markedly affected by a confrontation with The Truth–God’s truth.

Participants will become familiar with the basic, foundational truths of the gospel, and be given hands-on practice in sharing the gospel.

Bible studies and devotionals for each of the characters will provide further study for the weeks following this retreat.
